EDU-HEROES INITIATIVE COMES TO LIFE!

Feza Schools in collaboration with The Agency for Development of Educational Management (ADEM) has officially launched Edu-heroes Initiative for Public School Teachers in Tanzania

The Edu-heroes Initiative seeks to train public school teachers in leadership skills especially those from rural areas, so that they can champion the SDGs and create local solutions to local problems in their communities.

The Edu-hero initiative also looks forward to identify and appraise the great works done by teachers and make public their success stories and award them as a token of recognition and appreciation.

Also special thanks goes to Dr. Siston Masanja Mgullah, Chief Executive of ADEM, Dr. Joyce Ndabi of School of Education, University of Dar es Salaam, Dr Trish Gott and Dr Andrew Wefald of Staley School of Leadership Studies, Kansas State University, USA.

Quality Teacher Leaders (EDU-HEROES) as Center-stage and Keyplayer for Sustainable Inclusive Quality Education in Tanzania

When the world is facing major challenges under limited resources…

  • How can International agencies help developing countries to establish long lasting, self-sustainable provision of All-Inclusive Quality Education in Rural Areas and in Public Schools?
  • Invest, Promote, Inspire and Make effective use of the full time, sustainable, adaptive, evolvable resource that we already have in place in those rural areas and public schools, this is none other than A TEACHER
  • But these teachers need to be trained for adaptive and servant leadership skills and embrace their roles which should not be confined just in the classroom but in the local community in general
